During the Spring of 2023, Ark Remediation worked as a sub-contractor on a renovation project for the 343 Canal Street building in New York, NY.
Our role in the project was to remove lead-based paint from over 30 cast iron ceiling panels, that date back to 1845! The panels hold small glass pieces that will be replaced in the metal panels before final installation.
Each panel weighed several hundred pounds and were sponge-blasted and primed before we sent them back to the general contractor for installation.
